Both systems match up to 9,999. After that: Indian uses lakh (1,00,000 = 100,000) and crore (1,00,00,000 = 10,000,000). International uses million (1,000,000) and billion (1,000,000,000). 1 crore = 10 million. 100 crore = 1 billion.
How should I write rupees in words on a cheque?
Write the amount in words without abbreviations, followed by 'only'. Example: 'Fifty Thousand Five Hundred and Twenty-Five Rupees Only'. The word 'only' at the end prevents anyone from adding to the amount.
What is the largest number this tool converts?
